Pasley's Mortuary

Pasley's Mortuary History

As a child reared in Mt. Holly, SC, I knew I wanted to be an undertaker when I grew up. I remember burying the dead animals in the community and praying over them. I was very passionate about my dream. In 1972, I started working with Mitchell Funeral Home. After the closing of Mitchell, I owned a limousine service. The Lord was still working on me to fulfill my dream. I planted the seed and watered the dream. I planted the seed and watered the dream and the Lord did the work. The Lord blessed me to purchase 1115 5th Avenue Charleston, SC 29407. After such, I asked my brother John Pasley, Sr., to be the manager of Pasley's Mortuary. It opened on June 2, 1995.

We got our first call, "It was my son." The dedicatory service was held Friday, August 11, 1995, 7:00 pm with the Rt. Rev. John H. Adams, Senior Bishop, being the dedicatory speaker. After the opening of the Mortuary, the Lord had blessings and favor upon us. Thank you God for all your blessings to me and my family. For the strength you give me each day and for all the people around me who make life more meaningful.
