Norwood Toomer

Norwood W. Toomer, 76, of Johns Island, South Carolina answered the summons of our heavenly father to retire from the labors here on earth to his rewards in heaven on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at his residence.

The relatives and friends of Mr. Norwood W. Toomer will celebrate his life with a Celebration Of Life on Saturday, June 12, 2021, 11:00 AM in New Zion RMUE Church, 4607 Dorsey Avenue, North Charleston, SC. Rev. Joseph A. Darby, Officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Memorial Park Cemetery a walkthrough visitation will be held at the mortuary Friday from 4-7pm.

Mr. Toomer leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Rev. Cora L. Toomer; children, Patricia Mack (Michael), Wilbur Toomer, Sonnett Toomer (Bridgette) and Rodney Toomer; siblings, Ella Ralph (Milton) Patricia Daniels (Charles) and James Toomer (Mable); ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will be receiving guest at the Toomer’s residence: 1607 Langston Drive, Johns Island, SC
