Laura Elizabeth Gladden of James Island, South Carolina answered the Summons of our heavenly father to retire from the labors here on earth to her rewards in heaven on Monday, September 6, 2021 at her residence.
The relatives and friends of Mrs. Laura Elizabeth Gladden will celebrate her life with a graveside service on Saturday, September 18, 2021, 11:00 AM in Payne RMUE Memorial Gardens, Grimball Rd. James Island, SC. Rev. William Green, Pastor. A walkthrough visitation will be held at the mortuary Friday from 6-8PM.
Laura leaves behind to celebrate her life and continue her legacy, her children: Keith (Deborah) of Lawton, OK, Joseph, Jr. (Sheena) of Middletown, DE and Shawn (Erica) of Davidson, NC; her magnificent seven grand-
children: Lauren of Knoxville, TN, Tiana (John) Columbia, SC, Christopher of Lowell, AR, Brandon and Jonathon of Middletown, DE and Kaitlyn and Payton of Davidson, NC; one great grandchild, Layla of Lawton, OK; three sisters -Rachel W. Brown, Lavenia W. Williams (late James) and Cora W. Ladson (late Jerry) of Charleston, SC; two brothers: Edward Williams (late Cathy) and Paul Ladson of Charleston, SC; her loving devoted and lifelong prayer partner her cousin, Suzette Brown of NJ; a very special and devoted niece, Cindy Williams of Charleston SC; Gail Flammerof Philadelphia, PA; special friends: Shirley Walls, Freddie Sanford, Mabel Franks, and Rosalie Jackson all ofPhiladelphia, PA; adopted in love children, Shelli Pennick and Lindell Rivers of Philadelphia, PA; her second family of Morris Brown AME, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sympathetic friends.
Due to Covid-19 face mask and social distancing is required at graveside and visitation in chapel.
