William Merritt
April 2, 1939 — August 30, 2017
The relatives and friends of Mr. William Merritt are invited to attend his Funeral Services on Saturday, September 2, 2017, 11:00 am in New Zion R.E Church, 4607 Dorsey Ave, North Charleston, SC. Rev. Duwine Sinkler, Pastor. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The visitation will be held at the mortuary today from 4-7pm. Mr. Merritt will lie in state at the church Saturday from 10am until hour of service.
Mr. Merritt will leave to cherish his memories, his wife, Sarah Merritt; children, Denise Gasby (Doug) and Sharon Canady (Warren); step son, Jerry L. Butler; mother-in-law, Mrs. Sarah M. Butler; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and cousins.
