The relatives and friends of Mrs. Henrietta W. Drayton, 86, are invited to attend her Funeral Services on Friday, October 13, 2017, 11:00 am in New St. James Bethel AME Church, 5305 Maybank Hwy, Wadmalaw Island, SC. Rev. William R. Jones, Pastor. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The visitation will be held at the mortuary today from 4-7pm. Mrs. Drayton will lie in state at the church Friday from 10am until hour of service.
Mrs. Drayton leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Ms. Sara L. Drayton, Mr. Benjamin L. Drayton (Sandra), Mr. Richard L. Drayton Sr. (Arnetha) and Ms. Julie A. Drayton; grandson reared in the home Mr. Janarvis S. Drayton; sister, Rosa Lee Grant (late James); a host of other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Drayton is preceded in death by her husband, Ben E. Drayton Sr. and daughter, Wilhelmina Drayton.
