The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Pasley's Mortuary announces the passing of George Washington, 92, of James Island, South Carolina answered the Summons of our heavenly father to retire from the labors here on earth to his rewards in heaven on Sunday on, April 21, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

The relatives and friends of Mr. George Washington will celebrate his life on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 11:00 AM in St. James Presbyterian USA, 1314 Seccessionville Rd., Charleston, SC. Interment will follow in St. James Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held at the mortuary from 6-8 PM, where the family will receive friends from 7-8PM.
