Pasley's Mortuary announces the passing of Reverend Roger L. Washington of Myrtle Beach, SC who answered the Summons of our heavenly father to retire from the labors here on earth to his rewards in heaven on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Grand Strand Medical Center.

Reverend Washington was a A.M.E Church pastor and a army veteran.

The relatives and friends of Reverend Roger L. Washington will celebrate his life on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 11:00 AM in Royal Family Life Center, 4750 Abraham Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405. Interment will follow in Riverview Memorial Park Cemetery, 3715 Azalea Drive, North Charleston, SC. With military honors. Rev. Washington will lie in state at Mt. Lebanon AME Church, 3445 County Line Rd, Andrews, SC, Thursday from 4Pm-7Pm, where a wake service will be held from 6-7PM. Rev. Washington will also lie in state at Royal Family Life Center on Friday from 4PM -7PM, where the family will receive friends from 6-7PM.

Reverend Washington leaves to cherish his memories his Children, Leslie Washington, Roger M. Washington, Martina R. Washington, Jonathan D. Washington, Kenric Rivers (Danielle), Lavonya N. Williams, and Joshua J. Washington (Javette); siblings, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
